CD Smackdown—A music event that brings singer songwriters into the recording studio and onto a live introduction of their original song at a CD Smackdown. This first CD Smackown was held in West Chester Pa. on November 15. 2007. The Smackdown had the great ambiance of The Art Scene. The 32 original songs  were played to a full audience while they dined on the great food from Café Menta located in the Art Scene.

You can listen to all songs included in the CD Smackdown here. Included with each song is a commentary by the composer. Some songs are under development and the track offered here is developmental. Others are finished works. Read the composer’s comments on the song development, the lyrics, the meaning or the arrangements in their own words.
